Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) is a short-term summer ministry program designed to train students (13yrs-college age) in effective and engaging ways to teach children about God. Students attend a one-week training school where they learn to present the Gospel clearly on a child’s level, counsel a child for salvation, and lead a dynamic club ministry for kids.

Your training will be focused on preparing you to teach 5-Day Clubs®. These are neighborhood Bible clubs for children 60-90mins a day for five consecutive days during the summer. Our summer missionaries (YOU) teach exciting Bible lessons and true-to-life missionary stories. These clubs also include contests, singing, sharing, memorizing verses, and more fun ways to share the Gospel.

After this training, you will return to your local community and teach clubs at various locations with a team of other young people. These clubs take place out in the community with predominantly unsaved kids who don’t regularly attend church. You will be able to take the light of the Gospel to them in their apartment complexes, daycare centers, neighborhoods, and other community locations.

There are two applications:​ 1) New Student and 2) Returning Student. Please complete the one that applies to you.
Your application covers your personal testimony/spiritual life, prayer partners, CYIA experience, and personal references. During the application process, everyone must read and sign the statement of faith (SOF), Workers Compliance Agreement, Medical Release, Photo and Video Release, and Waiver for Minors Release. Though the entire SOF will be available during the application process, you can read it as you prepare by clicking here.
All applications received after 01 MAY 2024 will be charged a late fee of $30.
CEF maintains high standards concerning the protection of children at our clubs. Every student must read, understand, and sign the child protection policy document and complete the mandatory Background Check Authorization if they are over the age of 13 years old. If you have completed a background check with CEF Wyoming in the last 5 years you do not need to complete another.

The costs for CYIA training is detailed in the application. In order to complete your registration, the $30.00 application fee must be submitted. Your application fee can be paid by clicking here.
Donations given for CYIA are not tax-deductible.

The CYIA fee of $400 must be submitted by 10 MAY 2024.
